DIMEBAG: More RockWalk Induction, Black Tooth Bash Photos Posted Online
May 19, 2007More photos have been posted online from PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott's induction into Hollywood's RockWalk (which took place Thursday afternoon, May 17 in front of the Guitar Center at 7425 Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood, California) and the Black Tooth Bash, which followed later in the evening at the House of Blues in Hollywood, California. A bronze bust of Abbott was unveiled during the induction ceremony and later installed along the RockWalk posthumous inductee wall, which also includes Robert Johnson, Elvis Presley and Bill Graham among others. Attending the induction were current and former members of ALICE IN CHAINS, ANTHRAX, SLAYER, KISS, ROB ZOMBIE and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY. Guitar virtuoso Zakk Wylde (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, OZZY OSBOURNE) also performed "In This River" — a song forever dedicated to his friend Dimebag Darrell. The Black Tooth Bash featured performances by Aaron Lewis (STAIND),Brent Smith and Jasin Todd of SHINEDOWN, ALICE IN CHAINS, Chester Bennington and Dave Navarro, Doug Pinnick of KING'S X, and Tim "Ripper" Owens (ICED EARTH, JUDAS PRIEST) Eddie Jackson and Mike Stone (QUEENSRŸCHE),Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) and Ace Frehley (KISS).
